Jerry began training at various firearms schools in the mid 1990s. He joined the IDPA in 2001 and competed at both local and regional matches. He eventually began working in Law Enforcement as a reserve officer and moved onto becoming a P.O.S.T. Certified Police Officer in the State of Tennessee. He attended the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy and graduated with Honors in "Highest in Firearms", where he went on to earn his rank of Field Training Officer and Network Coordinator for the Governor's Highway Safety Office. He worked with seven counties in Traffic and DUI Enforcement. In 2008, he assisted in Operation FALCON, (Federal and Local Cops Organized Nationally) led by the U.S. Marshals Service.
He attended an 80 Hour Firearms Instructor course hosted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, he attended an Active Shooter Instructor course taught by the NTOA. He went on to obtain his certification as an Emergency Vehicle Operations Instructor, Domestic Violence Instructor, Verbal Judo Instructor along with other LEO related courses, including Hostage Negotiations and FAA Flying Armed Instructor.
Jerry continued to train with both Federal and local agencies across the country until he finally decided to start his own firearms training school in the hopes of passing on the knowledge to better serve responsible gun owners on how to protect themselves and their families.

Matthew grew up in Middle Tennessee with a passion for the outdoors and shooting sports. In 1991 he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and Graduated with Honors for Marksmanship at Parris Island, South Carolina. He was stationed first at the 3rd Marine Division in Okinawa, Japan and later at the 2nd Marine Division in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Each year, during re-qualification, he was awarded the Expert Rifleman’s Badge.
After Serving in Operation Restore Hope in Somalia with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, he returned to 2nd Marine Division and was assigned to the Marksmanship Training Unit at Stone Bay Rifle Range as a Marksmanship Instructor. He served 4 years of active duty before being Honorably Discharged.
In 1995, he began a career in Law Enforcement in the Middle Tennessee area. He served on a SWAT team functioning as a Police Sniper. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and becoming the Department Training Officer.
Matthew has also worked in Narcotics Investigation and on a multi-agency SWAT Team serving High Risk Warrants. He has also assisted with the US Secret Service, U.S. Marshals Fugitive Recovery Team and the FBI Counter Terrorism Task Force while working at the Macon County Sheriff’s Office.
In 2010 -2012, he decided to temporarily leave Law Enforcement to work as a Security Contractor for the Department of Defense and Department of State in Iraq.
In Iraq, he served as Range Master at the US Embassy in Baghdad. He was in charge of a cadre of firearms instructors and oversaw the re-qualification of the Armed Civilian Security Guards.
He and his staff conducted training and qualification duties on all contract specific weapon systems including: Glock19, M-4, M249, M240, M203 and the SR-25 Sniper Systems assigned to the Emergency Response Teams.
At the end of 2013, Matthew returned to Law Enforcement. And currently serves today at the Lafayette Police Department as their Training Officer and Firearms and Tactics Instructor with over 20 years’ experience.

Master Sergeant (Retired) Zevon Lee Durham aka “Zee” served as an Infantryman for his first 6 years in the US Army with the 1st Battalion, 187th Infantry Rakkasans out of Ft. Campbell, KY.
While there, he held the position of machine gunner, fire team leader, squad leader, and recon team leader. During this time frame, Zee deployed to Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq.
After being selected and attending the Special Forces Qualification Course at Ft. Bragg, NC., Zee was assigned to 5th Special Forces Group Airborne, again at Ft. Campbell where he finished his career.
Within 5th SFG(A), Zee was assigned to the Group's Lone Direct Action and Hostage Rescue specialty company with the designation of A/1/5 that is reserved for Green Beret elite, There, Zee held the position of SF Engineer Sgt, Senior Engineer Sgt, Cell Leader, Team Sgt, and Battalion S-3 Operations Sgt.
While in Special Forces, Zee deployed 6 times to various locations in the Middle East with all of them being combat deployments except 2. During these deployments, Zee worked with hundreds of soldiers in the elite forces of these various countries. Zee taught them, trained them, and fought beside them in order to accomplish the mission successfully.
